From the beginning it was clear to me this project was progressive based. It was not about about simply defining an aspect of the site as objective and as straight forward as one can, but rather quite the opposite. The more I limited myself, the more I would end up in this trap. So rather than making one part on the object represent the law building, or the other, the paved walkway, I took a step back and used the overall vibe of the area as a basis. From this I built and played around with many different shapes, materials and structures, ranging from the use of hinges to glass. This process evolved to produce a product that induced flexibility of perspective which meant an open pavement, a canopy, a wedge between two industrial buildings, any shadows brought about by the wavering trees on the garden floor, all have the maximum potential to be discovered.
